The fabric should be stretched evenly and feel firm before you start tufting.

5. What size project can I make with the H1 Lite Frame?

The H1 Lite Frame gives you a usable tufting area of about 15.7" × 15.7".

6. What should I do if the fabric gets loose while tufting?

Stop tufting first. To tighten the fabric, pull down the locking levers on corner connectors B1 and B2, then remove the top locking bar.

Attach the fabric to the Velcro strip on the top crossbar C, making sure it is pulled evenly across the frame. Once the fabric is in place, snap the locking bar back on and pull the locking levers on B1 and B2 back up to secure it.

Make sure the fabric feels firm before you continue tufting.

7. What yarn works best with the H1 Lite tufting gun?

The H1 Lite tufting gun has a needle opening of about 3mm, so the yarn should feed smoothly without being too thick.

Use 1 strand of the 8-ply milk cotton yarn included with the H1 Lite. As a rough guide, 3 strands of 2-ply yarn or 2 strands of 6-ply milk cotton may also work, but yarn thickness can vary by brand. Always test that the yarn passes through the needle smoothly before starting your project.

8. What power adapter and cable does the H1 Lite tufting gun use?

The H1 Lite tufting gun uses a 60W power adapter with a US plug and 100–240V AC input. The adapter outputs 20V DC at 3.0A and connects to the gun through a 9.8 ft (3 m), 18 AWG DC cable with a 5.5 × 2.5 mm DC barrel connector.

Tufting Gun H1

1. How do I properly insert the needle into the fabric?

Hold the gun firmly and insert the needle perpendicular to the fabric surface. This ensures clean stitches and avoids fabric damage.

2. Why does my gun veer off course during tufting?

If your gun veers off course, check your fabric tension, gun angle, and guiding pressure. Keep the gun perpendicular to the fabric and move steadily in the direction of the guide line. Avoid pushing sideways or forcing the gun too hard — let the needle feed through the fabric while you guide it smoothly.


For better control:

  • Reduce the speed for detailed work (set the tail light brightness to 1/5–1/4).
  • Practice on scrap fabric to adjust to one-handed operation.
3. How do I control the tufting speed?

The rear rotary knob controls the speed. A green LED ring on the back shows your current speed setting:

  • Fully lit = 20 stitches per second (max speed)
  • Quarter-lit = ~5 stitches per second
  • Brightness increases in steps to reflect speed


🔰 Beginner Tip: Start at 3–4 stitches per second (around 1/5 LED brightness) to stay in control while learning.

4. Does the gun support loop-pile or adjustable pile height?

No, the included Tufting Gun H1 is designed exclusively for cut-pile tufting with a fixed pile height of approximately 15mm. It's optimized for simplicity and consistency, making it perfect for beginners or anyone who prefers uniform textures. Stay tuned for future product updates!

5. What yarn should I use with this tufting gun?

The needle opening is about 3mm, so medium-weight yarn works best. We recommend:

  • 3 strands of 2-ply yarn
  • 1 strand of 8-ply milk cotton
  • 2 strands of 6-ply milk cotton

The yarn should slide through the needle smoothly without feeling too tight. If it is too thin, your rug may look sparse; if it is too thick, it may jam or slow down the gun.Yarn thickness can vary by brand, so we suggest testing a small section first before starting your full design.

6. Why does the gun enter sleep mode after 1 minute?

This is a safety feature. Press the MODE button on the back to wake it up.

7. How do I maintain the tufting gun for long-term use?

Proper maintenance ensures your tufting gun performs smoothly and lasts longer. Here are some key tips:

  • Storage: Keep the tufting gun in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust and moisture damage.
  • Use Original Accessories: Always use original parts and accessories to ensure safe operation and maintain optimal performance.

Lubricate the Scissors (Cut Pile Models): For frequent use, such as in a studio or for long tufting sessions, lubricate the scissors every 2–3 days. For regular home use, once every 1–2 weeks is usually enough. If the tufting gun hasn’t been used for a while, we recommend lubricating the scissors before use.

8. How do I replace the scissors on my tufting gun?

Scissor replacement is slightly different depending on your tufting gun model. To check which model you have, look at the power port:

⚠️ Important: Before removing any screws, make sure your screwdriver is lined up straight with the screw head. Turn counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten. Do not force or overtighten the screws, as this may strip the screw head or damage the threads.

9. How do I replace the needle on my tufting gun?

The needle replacement process is the same for both the older and newer tufting gun models.

⚠️ Important: Before removing any screws, make sure the screwdriver is properly aligned with the screw head. Turn counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten. Avoid using excessive force, as overtightening may strip the screw head or damage the threads.

10. How do I install and adjust the regulator on my tufting gun?

The regulator helps keep the yarn feeding smoothly through the needle. Adjusting its position changes the size of the needle opening, which can help with different yarn thicknesses. For thinner yarn, moving the regulator slightly forward can make the opening smaller and help prevent the yarn from slipping out.

11. How do I adjust the speed of my tufting gun?

Use the speed control dial to adjust the tufting speed. We recommend starting slow for better control, especially when working on curves or detailed areas.

Tufting Frame H1

1. How do I assemble the tufting frame?

Assembly Instructions: The tufting frame is easy to assemble and can be securely attached to any standard table. Follow the step-by-step instructions to set up your frame for tufting projects.

  • Step 1: Unbox the frame components and ensure all parts are included.
  • Step 2: Align the frame pieces and securely fasten them using the provided clamps.
  • Step 3: Attach the frame to a stable, flat surface to ensure it is firmly in place for use.

2. How do I set up fabric tension correctly?

Follow these steps:

  • Pull fabric off the rod and thread edges between the top/bottom crossbars.
  • Leave ~7 cm of fabric hanging over the bottom to prevent sagging.
  • Rotate the lower knob counterclockwise 1 full turn, then tighten the upper knob clockwise (~3 turns).

3. Why does my fabric lose tension during tufting?

Common causes:

  • Insufficient initial tension (re-tighten knobs periodically).
  • Fabric slippage (ensure edges are securely clamped; consider adding non-slip grips).
  • Over-tufting in one area (distribute stitches evenly).
4. Can I adjust the frame for larger projects?

The frame size is fixed, but the tufting fabric can be extended downward for longer projects. The working width stays the same. For wider designs, we recommend making the piece in separate sections and joining them together afterward.

5. Why is the frame’s middle section sagging?

This occurs if the fabric isn’t evenly tensioned. Re-stretch the fabric and tighten knobs incrementally. For severe sagging, clamp the sides first, then adjust the center.

6. What materials is the Tufting Frame made of?

The main body of the frame is crafted from high-quality aluminum alloy, ensuring a lightweight yet sturdy structure. The attachments are made from composite materials, offering durability and enhanced flexibility during use.

7. What is the effective working area of the Tufting Frame?

    To be eligible, items must be unopened and in their original packaging.

    The tufting gun and frame are covered by a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.
    If you experience any quality issues within this period, please reach out to us for support.
2. How long does it take to process a return or warranty claim?
  • Returns: Once we receive the returned item and confirm it meets our return policy, your refund will be issued within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
  • Warranty Claims: If your tufting gun or frame experiences a quality issue within 1 year of purchase, we will offer a free replacement. After verifying your claim, the replacement will typically be shipped within 7–10 business days. No repair service is currently provided.
3. What is covered under the 1-year warranty?

The warranty covers manufacturing defects or functional failures under normal use for the tufting gun and frame. It does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.

4. How do I initiate a return?

To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for return. We will provide instructions and a return shipping address.
