I love the tufting gun. So much easier to handle than the double handled kind. The frame is really good too sometimes have to tweak it a few times to get the canvas nice and tight. Overall I am very happy with my purchase of the whole kit.

Lightweight with full capability!
I love how so much lighter this gun is compared to the old fashioned tufting gun. You can also adjust the speed on the dial easily. The whole kit is perfect for any beginner as it has everything you need. The fact that the gun comes in a bag/box just makes storage so much easier! Can't wait to make more crafts with this!

I love this thing so much! I started with punch stitch so this felt like the natural progression. The product is great.once I found the right yarn it was perfect. 10/10. I would hug yall if I could

Love how easy the tufting kit was to use, even as a complete beginner. The enclosed gun design felt very safe and I appreciate that you could still see the inner mechanisms through a little window. I also liked that the frame doesn't use nails, as I often have pets crawling about and don't want my crafts to present a danger to them. Had a great experience overall!

For smaller hands this gun is a great alternative to commercial units. The light weight and maneuverability are nice. The frame was a bit of a puzzle at first but once figured out gave nice tight tension to the canvas
Now for some suggestions. How about a loop pile gun and adjustability for pile heights?
The yarn that came with the kit was possibly the second worst I’ve ever tried to tuft with. To ensure better success for beginners, how about a smaller selection of better yarn? And extend the padded grip up further for those aforementioned small hands.
All in all I’m happy I made this purchase.

There’s no need to say much, working with this tool is pure pleasure, quiet, precise, light, delicate… my first carpets look as if they were made by a professional. The shipment arrived quickly, carefully, fitted, the frame is very strong and well made.
However, I have two comments:
1. The frame could be larger to make larger prioject.
2. There’s not enough yarn, and the sellers doesnt provide information about the type, where to buy yarn etc

Regarding your question about the yarn — the yarn included in the kit is 8-ply milk cotton, which is very beginner-friendly for tufting projects. The frame size is fixed for this model, but we truly appreciate your suggestion and will keep it in mind for future improvements.

Such an easy tufting gun to use! Lightweight and the frame is the best thing ever! So easy to get your project ready. Even my 6 year old is able to make a rug for himself with it!

First off let me say, I am a disable senior. And I have been trying Turfing with other machines. The along comes Clawlab with the smallest gun out there and I purchase it and was able to complete my first rug, because I was able to hold the gun. I love it. Not the concept of the frame I like but the small handles for the side bar, is hard. It seems like the handle's levers are really tight and hard to move up and down. I don't know if there is something wrong with my frame or is this normal. I am worried if I push to hard it might break the frame lock, plus the wheel down clamps for the table hole down are set to close to the frame and it is hard to grab ahold of the material to stretch it to hold down by the clamps. But I do enjoy the machine and looking forward to making a hole lots of rugs.

Regarding the frame handles: if the tufting cloth is stretched tightly as shown in our stretching tutorial (YouTube: “How to Tighten Fabric on Tufting Frame” – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5mdhmoQwI4), then pressing or lifting the side handles will naturally feel difficult — this is normal and helps keep the fabric secure.
If the fabric becomes loose during tufting, you can re-tighten it by following these steps:
1. Open the two side springs, then lift the handles upward. This brings the slot closer to the cloth edge, making it easier to clamp the fabric.
2. Use the springs to clamp both sides of the cloth firmly.
3. Press down the side handles.
4. Finally, rotate the top right handwheel to stretch the cloth tightly.
When you need to remove the cloth from the frame, please refer to our releasing tutorial (YouTube: “How to Remove Fabric from Tufting Frame” – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYwwiNk4CxI).
Regarding your comment about the knobs: we understand that the right-side table clamp knob (which secures the frame to the table) is positioned quite close to the bottom right handwheel (used for tightening the fabric). This can indeed feel a bit tight to operate, and we truly appreciate your feedback. We will take this into account for future design improvements.
